Ever-Evolving Concepts
The
Original Concept
A product concept began in
late 1987 with an idea of finding an alternative method of marketing "Corn
on the Cob" and squirrel feeders. Note: At this point in time, all squirrel
oriented products focused on deterring or eliminating the squirrel from
domestic environments. However, resulting from proven field research, a
new concept in wildlife feeding was established:
"Feed
the squirrels
on
the opposite ends of the property from the birds, promoting a peaceful
co-existence between the two."
Consumer thinking has changed
and an educational process has begun with the introduction of this concept.

Wildwood Farms is now dedicated
to maintaining that same healthy co-existence between society and our fragile
ecosystem by providing high-quality, wildlife oriented products that combine
understanding, entertainment, and enrichment.

Our product line of over 150
specialty feeds and feeders now spans across many species of wildlife.
From the serenity of the White Tail Deer to the unique Humming Bird, our
products are designed and hand-crafted with each one of these in mind.
Wildwood Farms’ desire to restore and maintain a balance in our ever-changing,
fragile ecosystem has been encouraged by Minnesota's DNR head of non-game
wildlife, Carrol Henderson, and by our support for "Teaming with Wildlife."
